IUMRS publishes a Newsletters, currently in Jan and Aug each year. IUMRS and C-MRS jointly publish a research journal “Progress in Natural Sciences: Materials International”. To commemorate the 30th anniversary of IUMRS, a book entitled “IUMRS Legacy: Contributions from Volunteers” which is freely downloadable. IUMRS recently conducted a Survey on the Evolution of Scientific Publishing, and a report of which (in PDF) is available here.

This can be in the form of a report on an event related to materials research, a topical review of materials research work, an introduction of a materials research topic to the general public, a commentary on issues relevant to the materials research community, etc.
