IUMRS is a not-for-profit organization. The Union is managed by volunteers only. The small amount of membership fee (ranging from $0 – $5,000 per annum) collected from the adhering bodies is used for essential operation of the Union and to support some important projects.

The Union welcomes support and financial contributions from donors, industries, and other organizations. This can be in the form of

• Donation
• Sponsorship to IUMRS projects
• Joint projects
• Other forms
