The first Asia Advanced Materials Summits (AAMS) was held in Shanghai, China, from 8 to 10 March 2021. AAMS is an initiative of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). It was jointly organized by Advanced Materials Alliance of CAST Member Societies (AMAC), Asia Pacific Academy of Materials (APAM) and IUMRS Regional Office in Asia. The aim of the summits is providing a platform for the materials scientists and entrepreneurs in Asia to exchange their recent research and development achievements in the field of materials science and technology, and promote the cooperation among Asia materials scientists.
